Hello.

I'm usually in the Ostomies forum but I've been experiencing numbness on the left side of my body so I'm just posting here...

about a month ago, it started with a bit of arm pain. Then, my left pinky toe and fourth toe were numb.

And today, I feel numbness in my left arm and left leg and foot, as well as my right leg. It's kind of freaking me out....

Since I did have some chest pain about a month ago, I had some blood work done and got an electrocardiogram done but there were no signs of any problems with my heart.

Does anybody know what this may be? I've been taking some Vitamin B12 but it doesn't seem to make a difference.

I do drink coffee every morning. Sometimes it's just black coffee and at other times it's a latte. Would coffee be a factor to be causing numbness?

Good Afternoon,

You made the right move first in seeking out the attention of a Cardiologist.  Now, perhaps, you should make and appointment with your Primary Care Physician to set up a plan of where you go from here as the problem has not dissipated.

I would call your Dr. today and see if you should be seen in person today when your having the symptoms.  It is always best to rule out anything serious and if all of your neuro exams are normal than look toward Fibromyalgia or whatever your Dr. feels may be the problem.

Good luck and let us hear from you.

Kindly,
Kitt
