"Folic Acid Fortification Boosts B Vitamin in US"
"Vitamin B levels have improved significantly in every segment of the US population since the Food and Drug Administration mandated folic acid fortification of enriched cereal-grain products in 1998.
Homocysteine and methylmalonic acid, which are indicators of generalized inflammation and possible cardiovascular risk factors, usually decline when folate levels increase."

I've been taking folic acid for 7 years now. My homocysteine level was quite high several weeks after my heart attack back then and since starting the folic acid it has stayed down - so I'm a believer.
Do you take additional Folic Acid?!
