after a few fairly ectopic free days, the PVCs are creeping back...first a few, not very noticeable, then a few more, a little more intense, then a short run of three....then they stop....then a few more...sporatic....hope they don't get out of hand again. devil

may all be ectopic free. wink

pvct,

I saw this statement in an article the other day:

In an overwhelming majority of patients, especially those with a structurally normal heart, PVCs are benign. The word benign means the extra beats do not indicate heart disease or predict sudden demise.

Sometimes the word "overwhelming" indicates something good - cool scool wink

Happy 4th of July week!

Kindly,
Kitt

Hi there!

My PVC's can follow a similar pattern as yours!
I've got to the stage now that having a regular beating heart is quite weird as im so used to my ectopics! Lol :-)
Ive come to the conclusion that there is no cure, apart from radio frequency ablation, and even then its risky with no gaurentee it will work!
I've just accepted that ill have good and bad days!
Ive had these for about a year and a half and they are not going away anytime soon!
Who knows, one day there might be a magic cure, but until then we have to keep soldiering on!! :-D

I have had pvcs and pacs x 20 yrs off and on. This bout has lasted ~ 1 1/2 yrs and after many dr visits and tests and loss of time on researching crazy cures and taking unfamiliar supplements, I agree with you miss spice bomb that we do just have to live with these and resolve ourselves to good and bad days. The only exception to this is that beta blockers and magnesium has lessened the intensity of these for me.

thanks Kitt for your reply. i appreciate all the encouragement and reassurance. I have read in your replies of your husbands episodes with Ectopics. my thoughts and prayers go out to him and to both of you. to have to deal with that, you both must be a tower of strength.

happy 4th to you also
my best to both of you :-)
