Aloha! does anyone who was born with a cardiac condition in this forum currently receive SSI? I have an 18 year old who was recently denied benefits despite his condition being on the "A" list. He's already had multiple surgeries, though none recent and took an endurance test at his last appointment that he didn't tolerate very well. Despite that noted in dr.s notes, he was still denied. Any thoughts, feedback on what to do or where to go from here? We're in the process of appealing but i'm reading stats that say it's even more likely 2nd time around to change the decision. If so does anyone know what can be done if all appeal processes are exhausted? thanks for your time in advance, look forward to all replies.

I am sorry to hear of your struggles. I would definitely have a good disability lawyer. They usually do not require any money until they/you win benefits. Please don't give up. Wish I could help more, but will be praying for you
