i have been posting on the hepatitis and ms forums for years.  now, i have a new dx; " atherosclerosis of aorta".  i had a full abdominal CT scan a few monthas ago.  the radiologist noted the condition in the aorta.
my pcp was surprised, because my bp is generally 105/65, and my total cholesteral, 150 to 160.  i exercise everyday, eat a healthy diet.
on the down side, i have ms, cirrhosis of liver, and am under a lot of family stress.

my pcp is in no hurry to have this evaluated.  im nervous, but understand that i am asyptomatic.  im nervous because, when i googled atherosclerosis of aorta, the 1st words i saw on the page was
" silent killer" .   should i be nervous???
