"If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with heart failure, it can be frightening. This is a serious condition that has no cure, but you can live a full and enjoyable life with the right treatment and active attention to your lifestyle."

We've started this discussion here before, but there is always something new to learn, or discuss re this condition.

I had a heart attack in 1998 and in 2003 I was diagnosed with Left Sided Heart Failure.  Then Right Sided Heart Failure.  Apparently, through life style changes and medications I was doing all the right things, as my EF (ejection fraction) went up and the swelling

went down.  tongue

Recently, there have been some changes and I was told that I was back in L. sided heart failure and though borderline as yet, the swelling is coming back in my ankles and I've started having shortness of breath (SOB) doing normal things like dusting.  It hasn't helped much that I also have a ruptured disc in my lower back along with some arthritis.  So right now, I'm in the midst of finding out what will help my back, so that I can get out and once again be more active, so my heart doesn't get any more deconditioned.

So if you, or someone you know has heart failure, I'd sure enjoy hearing from you!! yeah

Hugs, Teri tongue
