Excluding colds and dental visits, how often do you have to visit your PCP's office, or your Cardiologist's office?

Are they follow up visits, new problems, or tests?

Hugs, Teri tongue

I go see my cardio on Nov 1st but he said if I am not having any problems I won`t have to come back for a year..I think he figures my condition has stablized so unless I run into some problems down the road they`ve done all they can for me..I`m contemplating going in for tests on some other things but nothing heart related

re doc's office visits:  i can't count that high!  i'm so jealous of you all who don't go often.  i feel like i'm in one or t'others office at least once a week - cardioboy, gastroboy, oncologistgirl, diagnostics, therapists of various sorts, gad! eyes

I see my cardiologist every six months now, barring any problems. I see my internist every 3-4 months to keep an eye on my diabetes and general health things. It gets pretty costly, but important to do. I feel pretty lucky compared to others who are to their doc's so often.

I agree..I think my heart attack was worse (As a single event) than any of the guys I work with or most of the folks I chat with online but my medical problems afterwards as far as doctors, medications and future problems have been a lot less and for that I always feel lucky

in spite of the fact that i see so many docs, i feel lucky that, over the years,

i have finally got all doctors that i really like, that seem to like me, that are

competent, thoughtful people.  that makes a big difference when you have to

go in so often.

That is really important - having the right team put together! So far, I'm feeling the same way. :)

Hugs, Teri :)
