I just turned 26, pretty healthy, try to stay active and eat decent. For maybe the last 2-3 years I've had PVCs and they've seemed to increase now. Over a year now, I've had three EKGs, echocardiogram, and a holster monitor for a month and doctors say my heart is structurally normal and benign.

I can't seem to really live with this without being able to relax and not worry. I constantly check and track my pulse. On a good day I'll have maybe 2/minute but it usually worsens if I eat heavy or drink alcohol. I used to be symptomatic but not anymore. I just worry and feel frustrated. I've tried beta blockers but they make me feel sick.

I don't know what else I can try to get rid of PVCs. I have like 20 "skipped" bears / min at the moment, how are they not dangerous?? What's causing this?!

Hi, I'm 38 and have had a-fib problems and those annoying PVCs for over 15 years. I had an ablation in July 2013 and have not been in a-fib since. However, the PVCs have tripled, they scare me. My doctor said as long as I'm not in a-fib, I OK, and won't try another ablation unless the PVCs increase to 30,000 a day and last for days. Like you say, heavy eating and alcohol increase them, but I have found that as long as I'm thinking and waiting for them they get worse. If I get up and do something, I don't notice them, even go jogging or for a walk and sometimes they stop, and when I sit down and start thinking about it, then here we go again. It's like a vicious cycle, I have to stay active, but hey, that keeps me in shape, because I need to be in the best shape possible because one day I have an open heart surgery coming because I have a dilated aorta at the root of my aorta., anxiety will make the PVCs worse, a lot worse. Don't sit and wait for them to happen, live life to the fullest. I know a guy that still jogs and he lives in a-fib, WOW
