hello all

i m 36 years old non smoker 173cm 79kg 10% bodyfat

i have heart problems...3 times in emergencies rooms...

i had pre hypertension (that i managed to fix by losing weight) which led me to have heart palpitation and irregular heart beats.

the first episode i had was 2 month ago, i was sitting on stool on a bar stand and i felt my heart shaking like a fish out of the water in my chest i started to feel numbness in my left arm...the ambulance found out a blood pressure of 174/100 they injected me with something that make me feel heat all over the body...and went fine after a few minutes...

then a week after i had the same episode...emergency room again

yesterday i had the same episode watching tv... i must say that after the first episode i had i never done a cardio session at the gym which i started again gradually a week ago...and i felt like i skipped a beat with my heart and almost fainted...went to emergencies a few hours after that as i was feeling chest pain again...

At ALL times my ECG blood tests were NORMAL...

i feel lost and terribly embarrassed when i feel my heart is going to explode and you can physically see my left pectoral bouncing from the heartbeats and the ECG are normal...

anybody experienced the same thing out here?

thanks

hi josepla. welcome to the forum. i have seen that this is a common problem. i have hypertension, but better. yeah, classic pain down left arm is hospital, something i learned the hard way. irregular beats are common. working out can push ya ticker and it will be a bit tachy. talk with ya doc. a referal to a cardiologist might be the go. this is my recommendation. there are other tests that the cardiologist can arrange. keep strong. others will pop on.

i am so confused i m supposed to exercise and exercise provokes my 'attacks'

worse is that it also affects my social life...obviously when i have a drink the chest pain comes almost immediately...

could be a part gastro condition. some gastro symptoms are very alike to some heart symptoms. things like heart burn. gastro osohegeal reflux disorder. keep talking with ya doc. healing thoughts.

Hi Josepla,

Based on the fact that you do smoke and have had weight problems, it would be easy for me to say to change your lifestyle etc. However, the silent killer is heart disease and heart issues and sometimes we are not always aware of other factors that could be contributing to these conditions. Do you snore? I was unaware of the fact that I was snoring until I married my husband. He made me aware that I was snoring and I realized that must be why I wasn't sleeping well and always waking up feeling unrested and with chest pains. I avoided using a CPAP like the plague, and then I found snoring mouthpiece and I was surprised how fast it worked. My health and life improved. I feel much better now. Possibly, this could be a solution for you.
