I've already posted on the anxiety forum, seeing as I have anxiety/bad health anxiety, but I also wanted to post on here, seeing as it is a forum about heart related things.
Yesterday after walking home in the heat, sweeping, getting some things for my little one. I was standing at the counter getting some stamps out of my drawer. I felt like it was a palpitation "trying to come up" ( I feel mine in my throat most of the time ) and it just didn't, it felt like my heart paused for about 4 or 5 seconds, I THINK. I also have this weird habit of holding my breath while I'm very concentrated on something.
If it WAS a palpitation, is that a long time for it to "pause" ( my heart )
I truly have no idea which it is, as I wasn't paying much attention..
It has since obviously gotten me in to such a panic, etc..
I've had an echocardiogram done ( apr. 20th ) for Mitral Valve Prolapse, I've got it with trace amounts of regurgitation. Also had a Holter monitor put on for 24 hours thay same day. My doctor said both came back fine. I DO believe her, just can't stop worrying about my heart since all of this started in March.
My uncle on my mom's side died at the age of 52 of a heart attack, and my grandpa had quadruple bypass at age 70, but that's the only family history of heart problems.
I've always got to remind myself my tests came back ok, but when that happened yesterday it scared the heck out of me to say the least...
