I also posted in the GERD - Heartburn forum,
I DO have GERD.

This has happened a few times in the last week, after eating a particularly heavy in carbs and fatty meals.
which is a big no no, I already know that.

My heart rate hasn't gone any higher than 96, still very upsetting for me, since I can feel the difference in the beat.
It also feels as though it's beating harder. this has happened a few times in the past few months, after a heavy or late night meal.

No other times, I don't randomly get high heart rates, unless ive been walking, cleaning the house, its hot out, or ive had a big meal.

It starts to go away within 30 minutes, completely within an hour or so.
I don't get short of breath, chest pains, etc.

My cardiologist said the only concern and thing I've got that would worry him is pre-diabetes,
which sadly I haven't been good at eating well lately, obviously.

I did get a little dizzy, but that was for a split second, and AFTER my anxiety started bothering me,
this is all a trigger for my anxiety sadly, so it is just a vicious cycle.

I'm just looking for anyone with similar experiences or any information that could help me understand this a little better.

Thanks.
