Hello to all my HW peeps--

OK---Yesterday--got a short e-mail from my Cardiologist-from my 48 hr Holter (Where I feel the NEW irregular beats--NOW PVCs..BEFORE all were SVT )--If you recall- I often get a mild "Electric shock" sensation w some of them--(When in the ER--the "Shocks" correlated WITH the PVCs !!

His short comment...

"Rob, got results of holter. You had isolated PVCs--an average of 11 per hr (from my calculation--that's only bout 240 a day--much less than I thought)--He continued--"No further treatment needed".

OK--I am going to see him,.this Wed--for followup--
He did later write to me--after I asked ..re: Tenormin increase (I take a 25 mg Tenormin in morning--he said--I could take a half--12.5 mg--at nite !)

MY big questions-which I will ask him

1-WHY this "Change"...from the SVT runs..(of 6.7...8 beats--on rare occasion)--to THIS--where they are happening every say...(But not as often)

2-WHY the .."POSITIONAL" aspect..? They definitely occur more often when I am sitting at my computer--AND my torso..is TURNED...to the...LEFT...!!! (Also--when sitting & slouching)-

Somehow--in some way--this is exacerbating the "irritablity".,..of the PVCs..!

Please--anyone--any thoughts..?? (Re: my 2 questions)

Can anyone relate..??

I know..he does NOT feel,..I need an ablation !

BUT--this "unpleasant" feeling--is driving me...NUTS !!

Will this..or CAN this..."Calm down"...even a bit..??

PS--YES--I AM taking Magnesium (800 mg/day ...& CoQ10...200mg/day..AND Omega 3...Fish Oil )--Cut out ALL caffeine--(Coca Cola--Coffee..& chocolate )

Thanks--
Regards,
Rob

how is ya blood pressure? taking any meds causing postural drop? sitting then standing, laying and standing. -sudden bp change causing irritability? another chat with the cardio is warranted. how are your mag levels? been told by my pharmacist that you can have too much. let us know how ya going rob. I am still learning as I go, x2 bi-pass. diabetic, and former heavy smoker. surgeon said these were the two main culprits. take care.
