I have an aortic root measuring 5.0. A history of bicuspid av and small stature. Have had 2ohs with some lung problems . Have some copd. My doctor says he won,t operate till it gets to 6.0. This worries me. Any ideas . Thanks

hey welcome.

every surgeon is different. seems like he/she knows you and your history. cardiologists / cardio-thoracic surgeons etc know there stuff. a 2nd opinion never hurts. sometimes a fresh and new eyes can be well worth it.
