I have been having a lower than usual heart rate lately though. I didn't really do anything different ya. I went to a cardiologist to see if he could help me with the condition. The person just did a ekg which did show a lower than usual heart rate ya. That's all he did though. He says that its ok even if it goes lower though. That doesn't sound right to me. Wouldn't it make sense for the person to do a few more test to make sure its ok. It just seems like he don't really want to help me ya. Does anyone here know if I should find someone else to get help from. Or do you think this cardiologist is right about my condition. I am not sure what to do ya. I just want to know that everything is ok though. Thanks.

hi, seems like this doc just did the basics. maybe checking with your cardiologist society / association for credible doctors may be the go. was your blood pressure checked? this can be indicative as well. talk with your general practioner as they will know your history. sounds like you are safe, albeit always go with your gut if you feel you need it looked at. your doc can refer you to someone decent, if they did not then change dr's. hope this helps.

asiangal555.... Very simply, you might let the readers know what you think is a low heart rate.

If average is 72, you may be upset because yours is 62, or 52.

What the heck is your heart rate now...?
How many times each day do you take it?
What was it last year, last month...?
Why do you consider the current rate to be TOO low?

You might add a few details, without which, no one knows what to say.

Ya my heart rate is usually in the 70s though. about a week ago it went down to the 40s ya. I think that's kind of low though. My chest feels kind of different it seems. I am more tired than usual ya. I just want to do a few more test to make sure everything is ok ya. Anyone advice would be cool. Thanks.
