Who else has this? I need more information on it. I am 23 years old, 35 weeks pregnant and got put on a 48 hour monitor due to flip flops and slight dizziness (results aren't back yet for the monitor) but my echocardiogram showed I had "slightly leaky valves" my nurse told me not to worry about it because apparently it's "normal" and she said even she probably has leaky valves if she had an echocardiogram done. She told me my ejection percentage is 65% which normal she told me is between 50-75%. Any advice or info is appreciated.

I have Mitral Valve Regurgitation. It's normal for leaky valves, especially in women.

Thank you. I was just wondering if there's any signs I need to watch for... Like right now I'm feeling chest pains and everything but it might be stress from finding out. They did say my leakage was normal so I guess I need to stop freaking out, I just don't know if it will ever go away and if I need surgery to stop it? Or if it doesn't even matter about surgery??

now, do some deep breathing. in from the belly, hold 5 seconds and slowly release. repeat a few times. let's get that anxiety down. keep strong.
