Anyone have experience with a blood test called MPO - it tests for an enzyme called Myeloperoxidase. I have read things about it that are scaring the crap out of me. Normal range is up to 633. Mine came back at 2660. I have read that a high reading is highly predictive of iminent cardiac event in the next 1-6 months. Haven't been able to get to my Dr yet to ask, my appointment is in 2 weeks, but trying to get him on the phone.

no, have not heard of this one. you are doing the right thing by sourcing the info straight from the specialist, and thus ascertain the cause, etc. keep strong.
