Ok so long story short, I'm a 23 year old female, healthy as far as I know, I just had my second baby about a month ago. Between pregnancies I developed anxiety and I would rarely get heart palpitations. During my second pregnancy towards the end I was having numbness and tingling feelings along with palpitations & flutters. I went to a cardiologist to find out I have two trivial leaky valves. Mitral & tricuspid regurgitation. But trivial. My ejection % was 65%. I have also been anemic this pregnancy. Now I'm 1 month post partum and all day today I've had a weird palpitation feeling. I feel like my heartbeat & the "skipped beats" are in my throat . Or like upper mid chest by my throat. I was laying in bed with my baby and had to sit up really fast due to a skipped beat & then felt short of breath. It's so scary I don't know what to do. My last echocardiogram (which showed my regurgitation) was about 2 months ago. They never said anything about a follow up. I need advice

hi, I hear leaky valves are common. regurgitation is in safe numbers. sounds like palps happening. anxiety is a huge causal factor for this, and then it becomes a viscous cycle. go and speak to ya doc. advice him or her of what is happening, the times etc. keep strong, hoping others post with further input. let us know ok. many healing thoughts.
