mvd lasts longer than regular agina. 10 - 30 min intervals, this is because of reduced blood flow because of the narrowed arteries. it is common with activity and sleep. it is more common in women, and those with risk factors of atherscopic plaque that is deposited uniformerly. trig numbers hdl hdl, and those with diabetes are in a more potent risk factor for mvd. the flu symptoms and pain and depression are factors to be wary of. mvd effects the brain as well, but this is what I have found. those with hormanal change or poly cystic ovaries are considered in this higher risk group. blood pressure and normal culprits as well. ie diet exercise. hope this helps.

Thanks for that. I've been researching non stop. I fit the bill except for the presentation of pain. I don't have any risk factors except low iron in the blood (which I read was a cause on one of the billion sites I was on). Hemoglobin is fine. Ferritin is 12 and iron is like 4 (I think). I'm on 125mg of iron daily now plus food sources, etc.

I've got pain everywhere right now. Sharp/cramps behind left breast. Pain into ribs- both left and right-but more left. Back pain-upper and mid. Sternum, pecs, etc. my legs are sore. Pain sometimes felt in left arm...sometimes right. Sometimes up into chin.

Sigh :(

some say it is the too hard basket disorder, alike me. ferritin is important, so keep with this. keep strong.

seems a dx is hard to ascertain and treat. a lot of symptoms fall into the category of cmvd.
