Hello, I'm having a EP study tomorrow (02/07/17) with a possible ablation. Just wanting to hear from others who have had this procedure done and what their thoughts were on it. Thanks

Yes, I had it done in June. Procedure went well, no complications, it completely resolved my problem. I went to the hospital the day of procedure, and was released mid-afternoon.

I hope your procedure went well!

Best I can tell is that young people make out very well with it. Older age I understand not so much, but they are improving with this surgery as I have been told. You will be Ok. if young.. but get Dr. Frizor in greenville,nc
I'm also up for ablation and my age is 65, 66 in this april..I dont know what to do as of yet, after heart valve replaced, Afib, with heart rate at 121 setting around and have to go to bed for rest at noon each day, I get tired with rate up.
