Hello, I'm a 22 year old male about 5'8 150lbs. The past few months I've been having dull chest pains accommodated with a numb feeling down my left breast and upper left adomonal. Sometimes I will feel a straining feeling in my armpit and jaw as well. Went to the ER four times and cardiologist twice. Blood test, X-ray, ekg, and stress test all show up normal they gave me pills and said it was GERD but it doesn't seem to help. My left breast and upper left adomonal have a constant burning/numbing feeling with some shooting pains occasionally. Activity doesn't effect it. Any ideas? I'm tired of not getting any answers

Hello & welcome to Healing Well. The good news out of all of this is you know it is nothing heart related. GERD often mimics heart issues. If you have not been checked out by a gastroenterologist, then ask to be referred to one. Also, the meds to treat GERD takes some time to find which medication works the best for you.

Take care.
