Hello bambola2nv & welcome to the forum. So very glad to read that your heart testing all came back normal. I promise you if something would have shown up in your testing the dr would have told you. So, keep reminding yourself "there is nothing wrong with my heart & i am not going to have a heart attack."

Your anxiety is really doing a number on you. The most important thing you can do for yourself is get the anxiety under control. It can cause chest pain, shortness of breath & make a person think they are having a heart attack when they are not. People also think its their heart when they have problems with GERD. They end up consulting with a gastroenterologist & find out GERD is the problem not the heart at all.

A friend of mine's husband had anxiety & every single time he had a bad episode he ended up in ER only to be told it was anxiety related, his heart was fine. He got the anxiety under control no more problems.

Take care.

bambola, I left the forum shortly after I posted to you here. I keep my grandson after school every day so my time in the afternoons are short quick ones to check the forums.

Take care.

your ticker is fine, tell yourself this. mantras are good, alike, my ticker is fine, i am fine. due to vision impairment i do not do chat, and because anyone can pop in and often are not moderated. and it is too fast for this turtle.

I would advise going to the anxiety-panick forums as more people over there may be able to help you out. As no problems with your heart have been found it is your anxiety that is the problem. Welcome to hw. I am from Anxiety Panic and depression forurms.

I do belong to the anxiety forum. I just wanted to speak to someone who has heart problems. To see if it is my anxiety or it's a heart problem.

bambola, your heart has checked out fine thank goodness. So, that should tell you it is the anxiety that is your trigger. I know in the anxiety forum there are many over there with health anxiety as I read all over Healing Well. It is not unusual at all for people with anxiety to think they have something going on with their heart, we have had people come through here with the same. Their hearts checked out fine fortunately.

You need to reinforce my heart is just fine & use your tools in your tool box to get things under control. I do not know if you take medication or seek counseling for the anxiety or not. If you don't, perhaps you should consider doing so. Life is too short to live in fear of something that does not exist, meaning your heart is healthy. You have been told by the experts tht deal with heart problems so hold that thought.

This forum does not have a mod & it is very slow. A few of us keep an eye out & try to help here when we can.

Take care.

Perhaps you can speak with your counselor about your fears of this. And again, when you start thinking about it, remind yourself this is my anxiety doing this, my heart is fine.

Take care.
