Lately ive been incredibly stressed, fighting with my spouse, financial issues, etc. Normal things for some.

I get a discomfort in my chest when i get SUPER stressed/pissed off. Kind of like how it feels when my anxiety is bad.

Can Chronic Stress actually cause my heart to be causing the chest pain?

I just seen a PA in my cardiologist office Tuesday, everything on their end is "beautiful and perfect" as she called it ( went in because ive been dealing with bouts of shortness of breath and im eliminating one thing at a time to get to the root of the cause ).

Im just mainly curious.

Thank you for any and all answers/experiences!

Melissuh when your anxiety kicks in the muscles all tense up & this includes your chest muscles. Since you have been given a green light with your cardiologist be very thankful that your heart is fine.

I have some heart issues that I have been living with a little over 30 years. I see the cardio every years & things are monitored. I am almost 64 now & never have let it slow me down & the only time I think of it, is when I do my yearly testing, lol.

If I get really scared or upset about something. When I get that sudden shot of adrenaline everything goes haywire. Chest pain & very bad shortness of breath. I know I am not having the big one, I calm myself down & its over.

Take care.
