Hello! I'm posting this to see if anyone else had ever had this problem, and what I can do to prevent this.
Ever since i was a little girl, I had chest pains. They would be specifically in the left side of my chest, and honestly, I feel like the pain is directly in my heart.
The pain is a sharp, deep pain, and when i would move or breath deep in that moment, the pain would get worse. It would leave me to breath quick, light breaths, or else there's more pain. The 'attack' is extremely random, which is the worst part. I could be driving, laying down, or doing a physical activity, and the pain would strike me and I would clench my chest. I would have to stop whatever I'm doing. Another thing is that when the pain would happen, I could almost hear my heart pounding in my ear?
When I was younger, it would be so bad that it would wake me out of my sleep. When I finally went to the hospital, a doctor told me it was growing pains. This launched a whole expedition of trying to find the source of the chest pain for years.
Finally, 2 years ago after the doctors finding nothing wrong, a cardiologist actually told me that I had a heart arrhythmia called Wenckebach and that this may be the source of my pain.
However, when I got my annual EKG, and I had another 'attack' she told me that it didn't even read, so it must not be the arrhythmia. Then she sent me to get a chest x-ray and she still didn't find anything.
I honestly don't know what to do, or what it is. I recently went to my pediatrician and she just told me to take advil, but honestly, the attacks are so random, i don't know...
Please help me haha
