So I'm 34yrs old and had my cardio ablation on April 3rd 2017 after a lengthy bout of uncontrollable SVT for 13 years and it was great for a while, and had the usual fluttering and some skipped beats here and there but nothing compared to the insanity that was my life before surgery, A.I constant pounding of my chest and heart even while not experiencing SVT and being able to take my pulse by just watching the seconds on a clock no need to put my finger on my corotid artery.
So due to all this I started getting severe anxiety.... fast forward to after surgery things have been going great, well now it's been 4 months and now I'm getting a whole new crazy set of symptoms. For the last 2 weeks I have been getting little to no sleep due to the fact that when I lay down now my chest starts thumping and I am having difficulty breathing, after a while it will subside but as soon as I am almost asleep I am woken by a crazy sensation of panic, anxiety and rapid heart rate (not svt I know the difference after 13 years trust me) so I try to go back to sleep again after I am calm and this happens again and again then finally I can't take it anymore and sit up put on TV and try to forget about it then the up and down bp starts w a low grade fever and you know the party hasn't begun just yet because then comes the chest burning and tingling and dizziness... mind you all this has been happening on a nightly basis for weeks now. Has anyone experienced this before ? Thank goodness I have some Ativan left over from months ago and that literally was the only thing that kept me from going to the hospital, I havespoken with my GP and he referes me to my cardiologist then back again . So now they are going to put me on a monitor for a month to see what's going on? I'm so confused because if taking the Ativan helped does that mean I have severe anxiety or mabey severe depression because I know both can take it out on you physically.....also not that this has anything to do with it probably but I have gained a ton of weight and have really bad bloating in upper abdomen! I just want my life back this is no way to live. Also I have been having mild bouts of semi similar symptoms throughout the day as well confused
