I am a 35 years old male - who is quite obese (height : 5'10 weight:111 KG). Around 2 months ago I started a weight-loss program (intermittent fasting - coupled with increased activity levels). I managed to get fairly good results so far in the last 2 months I lost around 12 KG of weight - (when I started the program I weight around 123 KG). Moreover, prior to the start of the program my blood pressure was in the pre-hyper tension region - my average bp was around 135/85 & my resting heart-rate was around 80 BPM.
Now, two months after the program in addition to weight loss & general feeling of healthiness (like I feel less tired or less shortness of breath when I perform activities like climbing stairs) - I have also recorded improvements in my blood pressure- my average BP now is around 125/75 (which is pretty close to ideal now).
However, its my heart-rate that I have a bit concern about. (I am using fitness tracker app like fitbit to track my heartrate) .. my resting heart-rate has gone to about 58 .. in general I wouldnt be so worried about it but it fluctuates a lot. I mean some days it goes as low as 52 and some days its as high as 83 - all the while I dont physical sensations of this fluctuation
The only heart-rate related sensation I felt was that when I initially started doing cardio excersize I used to feel my heart rate rising too fast - accompanied by little bit pain in the chest. But since then I have started to warm up a little better before increasing the pace on treadmill & dont feel any pain now (may be its also the training effect).
Do you suggest its worth while I should discuss this with a Doctor ? As I said the key thing is i dont feel any sensations of heart-rate fluctuations .. but my fitness tracker is all over the place with my resting heart rate & I am not sure if increased activity levels or intermittent fasting has anything to do with it.
