I'm 26 years old male, weighing 190 pounds(86kg) with height 5′9 (178cm) and I've been working out for the past 4 years. I'm not in totally fit shape but I still try to maintain a good body without losing too much weight.
My father had a heart attack 2 years ago, so I was a bit worried(and I went through panic attacks for a few weeks) about having a heart problem as well and I went to the doctor and did blood tests, ECG, echo and stress test.. and everything turned out normal.
Now, 2 years later, I'm having some chest pains in the middle-right area when going for a walk for more than 30 minutes. But the weird thing is that I don't have those chest pains when I'm running or when I go to the gym for weight lifting. I would guess that lifting weights with less than 1 minute rest time or jogging for 15-20 minutes would be much more fatiguing than going for a walk. I tried changing my posture when walking but I didn't see much difference.
This has been going for about a month so this is not a one time thing that's why I'm a bit worried. Could this indicate a heart problem? How often should someone of my age get tested for heart problems?
Any advice would be much appreciated!
