For the last few weeks, I'd been experiencing some pain in my heart which brought me to the ER where they did a number of tests and ECG's. There was Macrocytic anemia, elevated WBC (UTI?) and low-voltage showing up on the ECG. They did 5 repeats and kept coming back. Troponin was zero. I should mention that renal function has also been reducing over the last past years. I can be sleeping, walking or sitting and a rapid heartbeat begins. TSH was ok when checked recently. BP is toward the low end - right now 97/54
I was given a holter but results will come in 2 weeks. I am reading about the causes of low-voltage and most if all do not fit me. What I am concerned about is amyloidosis - which technically would explain the kidney involvement. I understand that testing for this is somewhat complicated.
