I had an ablation in 2014 due to SVT episodes that had gone on for years. They got to the point that I'd black out when they happened. I have been symptom free since then and haven't seen my cardiologist since the ablation. Over the last year I have felt some palpitations, it's almost like the SVT was going to happen but then it doesn't. I have had episodes of feeling faint when I first stand since I have been a teenager, but was told that was due to low BP?
I had an EKG done 2 weeks ago when I fainted while I had the Flu. I got the results today which show the following:
POSSIBLE LEFT ATRIAL ENLARGEMENT [-0.1mV P WAVE IN V1/V2]
INCOMPLETE RIGHT BUNDLE BRANCH BLOCK [90+ ms QRS DURATION, TERMINAL R IN
40+ ms S IN I/aVL/V4/V5/V6]
I plan to contact my cardiologist tomorrow to schedule an appointment but I am a bit nervous after googling. My grandmother( mom side) and dad both died of heart attacks. I am almost a normal weight, have a low resting HR(low 40's), low blood pressure, and ran a marathon in November. I still run 4 days a week.
Anyone able to interpret the test results for me?
