I'll try to keep this as succinct as possible… a group of peers and I have designed a device that sits inside of a coronary artery (similar concept to the stent, but electronic) and continually monitors the flow of blood through said artery. Through sensing and modern computing capabilities such as artificial intelligence, we are confident that this implant is a viable way to predict future heart attacks before they occur. This device is designed for people with CAD, since there is no cure for the disease and many diagnosed individuals live in fear of a cardiac event.
We are required to conduct primary research, so this is our attempt. If this device sounds like something that you would be interested in, please reply to this post.
