I sometimes get pain in my chest, Like pinching or stabbing. It catches me off guard. I have a small ulcer that I am taking medication for. I also get a little anxiety from time to time. I also have some pain around my collar bone. This could be that I have had a bad cold and have coughed an awful lot in the past few weeks. I am on antibiotic.Really just the chest pain and sometime rapid heart beat has me concerned. I am 44 years old and a female going through what the Dr. says is perimenopause. Just looking for a little advise.

Thanks

Hi Pen.   Welcome to healing well forum.  We are glad to have you.  Have you spoken to your physician regarding your chest pain?  Any form of chest pain is not something to let go or ignore and should be addressed.  However, having said this it could also be any number of things.  One is that your taking an antibiotic so that could possibly be effecting your heart rhythm.  Also, stomach problems have been known to cause an increase in heart rate.  I am not a physician so I would really defer this to your doctor and his/ her recommendation.  Take care....

Yes i have talked to my Dr. Many times. He tells me it's not my heart. I had an EKG and chest exray last year which came out fine. My cholestrol is 145 so that is good. I work out at the gym 5 days a week. Take a multi vitamin and other supliments as well. Vitamin D, coral calcium, green tea, folic acid, I have told my Dr. all of this as well. it really comes and goes. maybe it is indigestion or something. I have physical yearly so I really do keep up on things. I guess as I'm getting older I just feel more aches and pains in my body which bothers me. It's nice to just vent to someone about it besides bothering my family all the time. Thanks.
