Well thought I would update everyone. The darndest thing happened and my extra beat seems to have all but dissapeared since I went to the doctor. I guess hearing him say I wasn't going to die made me stop worrying, or maybe it really was stress related. All I know is that if it's happening I don't even feel it anymore.
I am still going to see a therapist on Monday for stress problems and anxiety. I think that a lot of this is just my worrying and stress. Now my symptoms have changed to something I am more familiar with when it comes to anxiety. I get chest discomfort that is caused by me. I know that sounds funny but that's exactly what it is. I have a bad habit of rubbing my chest right in the middle and it gets irritated. Then it starts feeling funny so I rub it again and it gets worse. Bottom line is that then I start worrying about why it's feeling like that when I am causing it to feel like that. Don't know if anyone here can relate to that or not.
Anyway I do have one question. There is one thing that I have been getting a lot and I am wondering if it's something to worry about. I have been getting sudden sharp pains in my left chest area. Especially around the lower part towards my stomach. I am wondering if this is just gas or nerve related pain. Or if this would be Angina? I don't know if this is something I should see my doctor about before May 4th or if it's something not to worry about. The best way to describe this is that it's a sudden sharp pain that last all of maybe 2secs and then comes and goes occasionally but never more then 5 to 10 mins in length. Usually much shorter then that. For example the one that I had last night before bed was 3 sharp pains and the whole episode probably lasted 3 mins. Any ideas?
