Ok guys im from panic disorder board but I need some help if you can help thanks..

i was told by A doc 6 years ago, when they found out i had anxiety, that she heard a click, and that it was mvp.To take antibotics before dental procedures etc...

My main fear is my heart, and last year I had ekg, stress test, stress echo, resting echo done,it came back fine they said no mvp..

So fast foowsrd to thursday i have a tooth removed, and its a cavity, had been gurting for about month month and a half.It was cracked and most of it was gone. The dentist did a xray, and said it was a cavity, and also there was a infection there. So I didnt take antiboics and its like 48 hours later im freaking out that the infection will go to my heart??Anybody help me with this issue,im 27 yo in a few weeks,i have panic disorder, and im scared thanks guys..

Outlaw,

A doctor might suspect mvp from listening to your heart but the definative test is an echo. If that said no mvp, there is no mvp from what I understand. So you should be in the clear. :)

Outlaw,

If you were going to have an infection, I would think you would feel it right away as far as running a fever and feeling pain in your mouth that just kept on getting worse and worse, maybe chills and some nausea. At any rate, you would definately be running a fever.

Outlaw,  I agree with hopes here.  An infection especially with dental work being done would run pretty quickly through the blood.  If you havent been running a fever or felt weakness, chills or sweating then you should be fine.  I can see how you would have some anxiety issues regarding this as for the past 6 years you believed you had Mitro Valve Prolapse.  However, if the tests your doctor ran came up negative for MVP then you can rest easy that there correct.  The only other test you could do to know for sure would be a Cardiac Cath where they run a cather from a blood vessel in your groin up to your heart and to get x-rays.  It is a pretty invasive procedure and expensive to do.  You have to communicate with your physicians to do whatever it is to set your mind at ease regarding this issue.  Take care...
