dizziness

I was wondering what might be causing me to get this dizzy, light-headed feeling when I start eating somthing? Ultimately, I know I have to see my family doctor about this, but until I can schedule an appointment, I would truly be grateful to any ideas you might have. Thanks

Hi angie, just wanted to welcome you here. I don't know what would cause the dizziness. The only thing I can think of might be your nerves. The best thing you can do is to go see your Dr. to find out what is causing this. I wish you well, and hope to hear from you soon.

Hi angie70, I wanted to welcome you to healing well forum. We are happy to have you. I agree with hope in that you really should get this dizziness checked out with your physician. I often have dizziness due to my low blood pressure problems. But dont notice any problems when I eat...Please do let us know how it gets...Take care

Hi angie70 > i get that at times too. After a meal, i feel light headed with a diffcuilt ot breathe sensation whih last for abt 30 to 45mins and goes off.

I had it checked and the doctors suspected the cause to be high cholestrol which seems to make some sense since the blood goes to the stomach to digest the food and in turn makes me light headed.

Have you had a cholestrol test done?
