Memorial weekend my husband had his second heart attack in 1 1/2 years.  At least 3 weeks before this last attack, we both noticed a definate decrease in his stamina.  The same with the first one.  Did any of you experience "warning signs" or sublte changes before you heart attacks?  I am always watching how I feel because I have CAD and a 100% blocked RCA, fortunately, my heart made new collaterals.  Thought it might be interesting to hear stories from others.  Thanks in advance.

Yes, I had this loss of stamina before I had a heart attack. I cannot remember how long it had been present prior to. It was 3 years ago. I remember that I had pushed myself that day, though. My stamina has never returned either. I have since had 4 stents, not at the same time. These post heart attack blockages have give me clear warning signs that have saved my life. The warnings were severe angina and even a further decrease in stamina.

I just read where you had CABG in March. How are you doing and are you in rehab? Sorry to have missed the CABG in your signature. My eyesight is not the best....

I hope all is well with you. It must still be tough I know.
