Greetings everyone! I recently had a heart attach (July 24) which resulted in a stent in my RCA which was blocked 100% at time of surgery. I also have other arteries which are narrowed too. I am 46 yrs. old. A couple of weeks ago I repeat pain similar to initial pain only not as intense. I tried the nitro which brouhgt some relief but didn't stop it. I went to ER and after a number of tests...things looked ok. Since then, I have had pain in my legs which has progressed as well as numb feet upon waking and intermittantly throughout the day. I do not know what's going on and am feeling frustrated because I had gotten up to walking 2 miles a day...and now havn't walked a good walk in over 2 weeks. It is also effecting my ability to consentrate at work as I'm trying to cope with the pain...any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

Hi arapahorae, Welcome to healing well forum we are happy to have you.  I was wondering if you have consulted you cardiologist after your visit to the ER?  If not I would make an appointment as soon as possible.  I am sure that other members will respond to your post...just sometimes this board gets a little slow.  Please do feel free to continue to post.  Take care

Since the heart pumps blood to all areas of our body, you may be having circulation problems. I definitely agree ... see your cardiologist. Are you taking an aspirin a day or are you on coumadin therapy?
