Hey Tee, welcome to the cardio forum. I know exactly how you feel! I take Midodrine HCL 5mg (2 in am, 1 noon, 1 pm) I also take Florinef 0.1 mg for Syncope. I had not heard of Neurocardiogentic Syncope before....but my problems started rather fast one day with low heart rate and fainting. After being in hospital for several weeks I got a pacemaker for the heart rate and sent to a specialist hospital in another state for the fainting. I also have had the tilt table test (funny, it doesnt take all that to know when someone is orthostatic) but my diagnosis ended up being Multiple System Atrophy which is a parkinsons type diease that effects HR and BP. There are many autonomic disorders which are neurological that effect the blood pressure. For me I have good days and bad days...My doctors have also added Ritalin to my med regime to try to help keep my BP up. It is a terrible feeling the passing out and not being able to control it and function.
I eat alot of protein, salt and caffiene which also seems to help some...these were recommendations from my cardiologist. Please keep us posted to how your doing...
