Hi mentioned in another chat von Hippel Lindau syndrome. If I had an MRI of the brain would that rule that out. Apparently with this syndrome you could have tumors in the body outside of the brain. However if the tumors are not in the brain and they are located lets say somewhere in the lower part of the body what do you think the likelihood is that it would be causing someone vision problems?
ps My main symptoms are my vision. I see trails/afterimages/sparkles. I also get vertigo. For example, if I look at a light even a small light and move my eyes I get a long trail of that light. Its called palinopsia. Do you thing maybe the PFO is causing this? Any input would be great. Thanks!
