Hello,
My Mom is an Angina patient, she had an Angioplasty in year 2000, currently she was soing thru Angina pains again, after the initial test, an Angioplasty was recommended for two blood vessels namely PCI to LCX & PCI to RCA the firast was done seccessfully which covered the PCI to LCX & placement of the Drug Eluting Stent which went really successful, while the Angioplasty of the PCI to RCA was recommended to be done later on and was performed but it was unsuccessful, the reason given & shown in the video was a clot of Calcium deposit through which even the Guide Wire was not able to pass, thus the afterward procedures of Balloon & Stent Placement could not be done.
Doctors said that they made 3-4 attempts but in vain, & the solution would be surgery. But we wont recommend it as its only recommended in the worst come worst case, and the patient is doing good due to her previous treatment, and only for PCI to RCA it wont be feasible. Yet she will have Angina throughout.
Well she’s back at home, & doing fine, Its really bugging me, there might be a treatment for such Calcium Deposit removal in Blood Vessels.
Best regards,
Ersilan
