Hello,

I was just wondering if there is anyone out there that has had this. I was diagnosed with myositis on the heart muscle on 1/15/07. I just want to know if this is a permanent thing or will it go away? Does it cause damage? Not too much info out there on the internet. Any replies will be greatly appreciated. I hope that you all are not having to bad of a day. Bless you all.

Thank you,

Lori

Thank you els,
I know and that's ok because I do know that it is rare. I had trouble finding much about it on the internet other than it can actually damage the heart muscle, causing that part of the muscle to die....then I believe that's REAL heart failure. I guess I am in it right now but the inflammation is on the front of the heart muscle so that's a good thing because it doesn't actually interfere with the major functioning of the heart. I was just wondering if anyone had it and if it went away without damage and so on...thank you for your concern. And I am a patient person...
Bless you,
Lori
