I recently had an MRI done, last Friday:   Here are the Findings: A few very small areas of increased FLAIR and T2 signal  are noted in the periventricular and subcortical white matter of each cererbral hemisphere.  IMPRESSION: Minimal punctate areas of increased FLAIR and T2 signal are noted in the subcortical and periventricular white matter that could potentially indicate:  "Microvascular Ischemic Disease"  I believe this is Heart/stoke disease.  Anyone out there have this???

Hi strengthenme, Welcome to healing well forum, we are happy to have you join us here.  I am assuming that your Neurologist ordered the MRI of your brain?  Please do correct me if I am wrong in this...They are able to isolate white matter in the brain that would possibly indicate future stroke patients which is differant from heart disease.  Have you spoken to your physician regarding your results as yet or have you just gotten your results from your MRI back and havent spoken to the doc?  Either way here is a link that you may find interesting.  Please do post again and let us know how your doing.  Take care
