Some of you may remember, I posted here about my heart symptoms and my struggle to get a diagnosis. After having symptoms since November 2006, I finally have a diagnosis. I have Lyme Disease.
My heart symptoms were and still are the scariest for me, but I had other symptoms from joint and muscle pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, Headaches that are worse and different than I have ever had before, Vibrating sensations, Tingling sensations, and a multitude of other symptoms. I had a negative ELISA test for Lyme in December, and 3 bands positive on the Western Blot in March. Finally, after testing in the beginning of April, I have a positive test.
I want to thank everyone here for their help when I was searching for answers as to why I went from perfectly healthy to having all these heart symptoms in such a short period of time.
I also want to encourage anyone who has heart symptoms, along with multisystem symptoms like those I listed above, to not give up and look further for answers. I would never have thought about Lyme again (after the negative ELISA), if a member here wouldn't have told me on this forum that I could have Lyme Disease. I saw at least 10 doctors, none of whom could figure out what was going on.
I hope everyone is well. Thank you again for all your help.
