My dad is basically being told that he is a walking time bomb and could have a heart attack and die any time. He is the picture of health for our family having completed two iron mans in the last two years and just turned 50. My mom made him go get checked out b/c he had some chest pains and sure enough the doctors found a more than 80% blockage in one of his coronary arteries. Many of his friends are telling him not to have angioplasty or any surgery and just to do the chelation b/c its less invasive and can naturally heal him. One of his friends did it and said he feels better but I don't know if he has been tested since to prove his "feelings" are in connection with actual healing on the inside. I have 100% faith in God and believe in natural healing... However, everything I read about Chelation points to no significant results. It seems like when studies have been conducted, those with the placebo had the same results. I think maybe my dad should just take the doctors advice and work on healing his body post surgery w/ natural remedies.

Does anyone have any Chelation advice?

he dose not want to Wait till he has a heart attack. i was lucky i had my heart attack in the hospital parking lot.
they got me in for angioplasty within 30 minutes and i have no heart muscle damage. They found all 5 of my coronary arteries were bad and two weeks later i had a 5 way bypass. and if i keep on my meds and eat right I should be good for 20 years on the heart.
IF HE IS IN GOOD SHAPE TO DO IRON MAN HE WILL BE IN PRIME SHAPE FOR ANGIOPLASTY OR BYPASS. IF HE HOLDS OFF HE WILL GET OUT OF SHAPE AND IT WILL BE HARDER TO GET BACK TO WHAT HE WAS.

Arnold Schwarzenegger had his heart bypass when he was 53 and he is back in shape again and going strong.

If he gets it fixed now he could be back doing iron man in a year.

Hi Nicole6651,

My mom was in the same type of situation as your dad.  She had a 90 percent blockage in her main artery and was told she could have a heart attack at any time.  My sister and I did alot of research to see what options, other than heart surgery was available.  Because of the position of the blockage the only option for my mom was bypass surgery.  We asked the surgeon about other methods, including chelation, but that was not an option for her.  I'm not suggesting that it is not an option for your dad, but you need to discuss this with his surgeon.  Find out where the blockage is, as we did with our mom.  It was very scary for us but it's been four months since the surgery and she is doing great!

Talk to the surgeon, doctor, specialist to find out what is best for your dad.  Let us know how it works out for your dad.
