I am Pomme and I have just recently been diagnosed with heart disease, they caught it early and so I am simply on lots of different    medication for it. Hopefully with a good diet, excercise and medication I will be ok.

I am only 33yrs old and so am just wondering if anyone can advise me with regards to the menopause and how to deal with this in relation to heart disease? I am a little bit scared about it as have heard that it will increase my risk factors and also that the medication for the menopause can also increase risks?

Any advise would be really appreciated as feel a bit too weird asking my Cardiologist (who is male),

  Thanks,

  Pomme.
