HI, I have dilated cardiomyopathy and this coming Tues I am having an ablation done, and |ICD implanted, and he said he would check the pressures in my heart and give them a |"tuneup" if he could.  I can't find anything on the adjusting pressures in my heart online, has anyone had all this done?  I have been expeiriencing skipped beats, and extreme fatigue.  How long is the expected recovery time for all this?  Really would like some feedback |PLEASE!  Thanks

All the best with this.  I know what the icd feels like and it depends upon the person.  Many people don't have a problem with them at all..many.  Mine tends to be bothersome because of age and fibro.  That seems to make every thing more sensitive.  I have no idea what the doctor meant, but make sure you know what they are doing for you before surgery.  That's "for you" and they need to explain it.
