So, it's that time of year...tomorrow is New Years Eve.  First and foremost, I want to say, I hope everyone has a safe, and fun time!  If you are drinking, don't drive!  Be safe, and have fun!!!

Now, does anyone have any resolutions they care to share???

Mine are...

Get back to work.  I have been out of work since April because of a horrible issue with anxiety, and panic attacks.  I am starting to get back on track, and am now looking for a job.

Quit smoking...AGAIN.  I had quit for almost 8 months, and one day, pretty recently, started back up.  I use stress as the excuse.  Whatever the case, I hope to quit again.

Stop worrying so much about everyone else.  I am the kind of person who puts everyone in the world before myself...it's nice to be giving, and caring, but I all too often, forget about me.

And, that's what I hope to accomplish this year.  Anyone else got any thoughts???

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!!!

And, please, bear with me....with the holidays being here, I haven't been on as much.  I am trying my best to get to your posts as much as I can!!!

Thanks for understanding all!!!

Hey Tammy.. love this thread.. :) My resolutions this year are to:

1. Quit drinking soda
2. Eat better (smaller portions and add more fruits/veggies)
3. Exercise more

I haven't been exercising lately.. and I need to start back up.. I usually only drink 1 or 2 sodas a day, but want to cut those out completely.. and want to incorporate more 'healthy' snacks vs. the chips I munch on.. Good luck with your resolutions and I'll let you know how I do on mine! :)

Hey there Ducky...thank you for responding. I really thought this one would get more heat!

Anyway, good luck with your resolutions!!!

So far, on the 3rd...already, I am losing the quit smoking battle...UGH. It's still early though, it can't be done all at once, ya know???

Hey Tammy.. apparently we're having issues with our 3rd's! :) I haven't started exercising yet.. :( Just not enough time in the day it seems.. but I know I need to MAKE time.. so that's my next hurdle! I haven't had any sodas yet (although I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE one) and I have done well with the portions/fruits and veggies.. Quiting smoking is SO hard to do.. I've had to do it myself.. try and ween yourself off of it.. cut down little by little.. Cold Turkey is just rough! Good luck to you!

Get myself a nissen fundoplication (meet with surgeon tomorrow for the first time...very excited and nervous!!!)

Oh, you mean REAL resolutions... :)

Exercise more consistently, I go through phases...

Get more organized and loose some clutter. My husband is (shocking as this may be to some) wayyyy more organized than I am!!

Oh, doghouse, let me come organize for you. I am a VERY organized person, and I love to organize for others...I am a bit obsessive about it, actually!

Ha ha ha...doghouse...Maybe I should come over on the 29th...I could help with you and the organization! LOL.

Joan...as for the losing weight thing, have you tried a program like weight watchers online, or something like that? Just throwing out a suggestion.

Ducky...how you doing with your resolutions???
