In my research and recent struggle to get off 5 years of PPI use, I came across this procedure on the web.  I am considering it for the short term benefits while going off PPI meds.  Has anyone heard any more about this procedure?  Better yet, has anyone had this procedure or know anyone who had this procedure?  It seems fairly beneficial with little or no side effects so I can't help but wonder why more people in as much pain as I am without meds aren't getting it done...even for just short term relief?!  Or while weaning off meds.  Thanks.
