can someone relate

i have acid indegstion but i'm on the protonix again it seems to help with the burning in my throat but my stomach still bothers me in there. i wake up in the morning with a burning nausae feeling and alot of gas on me as well is anyone else doing this and what helps you get through that?

 diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in april of 03, just had my sec. colonoscopy aug.22,07

came back normal. i quit smoking two days ago thats what kept me in remission, now looking for natural ways to stay in remission.

Hi there. I am wondering have you tried taking a liquid antacid before bed? That might help you feel better upon waking up. Just a suggestion.

Good luck on the continuing journey to quitting smoking...I know how hard that is!

no i havent tried any liquid antacids, i'm just wondering if maybe this could be an ulcer or something i just want it to stopp :(

For the stomach gas, try Phazyme. Also, I agree..the liquid antacid should help with the acid burn.
