For the past 3-4 weeks, I've been experiencing a dull throbbing pain in my stomach after I eat - but not every time, maybe about
3-4 times a week after dinner. Is this GERD related? I've been on Prilosec for about
8 months or so.
On a side note, about a month ago I forgot to put my Prilosec in my pill organizer and I unknowingly was without Prilosec for about 5 days. I couldn't figure out why my stomach was hurting so bad. I was extremely nauseas, felt bloated, had intense stomach pain that came in waves. But I didn't have that familiar throat lump or heartburn. Does this sound like it can be more then GERD or acid reflux? And the Prilosec is masking something else?
I see my GI in May so I'm going to ask him then but I just wanted to ask here first to see if anyone can relate.
