Yes, I have went to a colorecteral doc, whcih was horrible, and I do not reccomend. worse expereince in my life, id rather give birth.

With that said I also went to a Gastro finally on the recccomendation of my gyno, I thought I was having ovary pains, but actually I had an impacted bowel(constipated), I go from one to the other extremes hence the IBS. I have had xrays of my gallbladder, it is fine, however, the tech theat was taking the xray kept saying you have so much gas.
I had another abdominal xray and the tech said the same thing that i was very gassy, but everything was fine, I have had a hiatus scan, to check liver and gallbladder again, all was fine. and finally I had a Gastric Empting test, where the feed you radioactive scrambled eggs, and have you lay there for about 1.5 hrs. and all was not fine, my empting was extremelly slow. Finally I go back to gastro and he says you have gastroparesis, which is slow empting of the stomach, which means my food is not digesting, and i was vomiting it up,. lost 40 lbs.
But now gastro got me on right set of meds and i can eat pratty much anythingh i want except raw foods, no salads, no broccoli, stuff like that, becuz it wont digest. although I feel a lot better i am still very gassy, and my dr said some people are just more gassier than others? not a good answer, i just take the little green generic gas x pills from walmart when it gets too bad.
I wish I could help you more, maybe others will come by with more info to help you. And i will grill my gastro a little deeper on my next appt when I see him about what I can do aout the excesseive gas.
Good luck@!...
