Hi everyone, last year I had the 24 hour PH monitoring study done and my doc at the time was a real jerk....anyways, I know i have severe acid reflux and on the test results it showed I only had very little reflux (which is complete bs) and he told me I was close to being normal.  I was so upset I wanted to cry and told him i don NOT have mild reflux, its all day everyday and I dont know why the test showed I was close to normal.  He told me since the test came back almost normal i dont need to consider the nissan surgery or anything else to correct it.  I was really upset and went to see another doc.   Well, I just had an endoscopy done and now my new doc is doing the BRAVO ph test on me.  I know this sounds ridiculous but I am purposely trying my hardest to make the acid come up...Im eating all the wrong foods, overeating, eating cakes and acidic things...ect to make sure that the test records that I dont have a mild case of acid because i know i dont.  I usually dont eat like this in such a gluttony but I want to make sure it shows up that I have acid reflux and that the docs dont say its all in my head.  Am I crazy or what??  I know this is ridiculous but is this what I have to do for them to believe me??

See my post "disgusted." I know how you feel. I just want to get the surgery and get rid of this problem. I pay no attention to what I eat because it has never mattered.

Assume that I gave you a hug.
